The animals are such a joy for the children, with cows, calves, sheep, horses, ponies, donkeys, pigs, cats, ducks, and rabbits to see and pet. Manuela and Hanz run a wonderfully cared-for farm with their children, making it a warm place to spend time. We’ve spent every Christmas here for the past 10 years. The Vötter family are exceptionally hospitable, friendly, warm, and always ready to help. The house is comfortable, superbly equipped, and kept perfectly clean and tidy. They even move their own car outside so we can use the carport. They also make schnapps and various jams from produce in their own garden and offer them at very fair prices. I wholeheartedly recommend this place.

The landlords are really nice and helpful, and there’s a lovely farmyard with lots of animals, children's vehicles, and a playground. You can hear the industrial area and main road from the location, but it isn’t bothersome. On the hillside side of the house, you can’t hear them at all.

There’s a ski room where winter sports enthusiasts can conveniently keep their equipment. The bathroom and kitchen are well equipped, and towels and linens were changed during our stay. The rooms were cleaned well, and they’re very good rooms for the price of these apartments. I highly recommend it.

There’s so much to discover on the farm and in the surrounding area that one holiday just isn’t enough. We’ll definitely come back. Dear Vötter family, thanks so much for such a wonderful time. Weidinghof is a beautiful farm, lovingly run by friendly people and home to lots of good-natured animals. The baby animals, pony rides, and trampoline are a delight for grown-ups too, not just children. The holiday apartment was perfectly equipped, with all the kitchen utensils you might usually pack “just in case” already there.
