The hosts are such nice people, and it’s a quiet, peaceful spot that’s great for resting both body and soul. Love this place ❤️ I’ll definitely come back.

The one thing that bothered us was the lighting. There were bright lights all over the house, and none could be dimmed, so the place felt clinical. We usually switched everything off and used a single table lamp, which was enough for the living room. Apart from that, we had such a peaceful, private stay. The house felt brand new and modern, with a huge living room and kitchen and large bedrooms that could each have been homes on their own. There were two roomy, luxurious bathrooms with all amenities, and the kitchen was top-notch, stocked with detergent, dishwasher tablets, coffee filters, and firelighters for the wood stove. The setting was perfect, close to everything but still private and very quiet. We looked out over meadows with deer and mountains in the distance. The welcome was brief but warm, and we were able to check in straight away. Fresh eggs and a bottle of milk arrived a little later, and the farmer’s wife also brought us homemade cake, which was delicious. We could enjoy the house in complete privacy. The only visitors were the chickens, who liked peeking inside.

We had about 25 cm of fresh snow while we were there, but the path to the cabin was cleared very early, so getting in was no problem. The host welcomed us warmly, and the cabin was furnished with care. It had a small kitchen with everything needed, a bathtub, and a wood-burning stove that became our highlight and got used every day. Parking is right in front. The host family’s farm next door has fresh eggs and milk, and arrival, departure, and payment were all easy. Great for a couple or a family with children.

The owners are friendly and helpful, and breakfast can include fresh eggs and milk delivered to your door. This was our second stay in the cabin, which works really well as a base for visiting the Christmas market in St. Wolfgang.
