The bedroom smelled musty, so sleeping there was impossible. The outdoor area was very neglected too. It would take little effort to make it look like the photos online, just wipe down the furniture, provide cushions, and clear away the cobwebs everywhere. We had a very disappointing evening and truly didn't enjoy our stay. At first we were surprised to be put in a different apartment, then we were dismayed by how dirty it was. The table hadn't been wiped, the kitchenette was unclean, and the bathroom was worst of all and genuinely disgusting. The toilet had been cleaned without a brush, and the mirrored cabinet hadn't been cleaned at all. After a sleepless night, we decided not to stay a second night, even though we'd paid for three.

We were four families with kids and friends, and the place fit us perfectly. The location is excellent, and the owners made us feel very welcome. Communication with them was clear from the start. We'd be happy to return anytime.

We really liked the setting in Radau, with forests and hills all around, and Wolfgangsee and St. Wolfgang just a 10-minute drive away. Hallstatt was about 40 minutes away, too. We were lucky to get snow on the first day, and the sunny morning after made everything feel extra romantic. We were two families staying in the Remise (Fischergut) apartments in December 2023. Both were clean, spacious enough for a short family trip, and built in a traditional wooden farmhouse style. The kitchens had what we needed to cook. A connecting double door meant we could spend the evening together without trekking through the snow outside. Martin & Andrea were wonderful hosts and made sure we felt at home. We hope to come back one day.

The private dining room was great for the parents to spend time together after the kids were asleep. Each of our three families had a large, quiet room with a little baby bed, and there was a playground outside, along with sheep. We all had a perfect stay with our children under three.
