We really enjoyed having a balcony on the second floor, especially for sitting outside in the evening. The room was clean and nicely arranged, and the woman at reception was very kind. It’s also handy for the mountain train and the path down to the lake. I’d definitely recommend this hotel.

The breakfast was amazing, and the hosts were so friendly and attentive. We first stumbled across this lovely nine-room hotel five years ago and fell in love with it, so when we came back to St. Wolfgangsee this year, we knew where we wanted to stay. It’s peaceful, very clean, and within walking distance of everything St. Wolfgangsee has to offer. Highly recommended.

My wife and I stayed here a few years back and had a lovely time. The frustrating part is that you can only book through a third-party platform, not directly, and the hotel never replies to emails.

The beds and pillows were much too soft for us, so we didn’t sleep well. That’s a personal preference, though. Otherwise, good value for the money: clean rooms with lovely lake views, a nice bathroom with plenty of toiletries, a generous breakfast with choices for vegetarians and meat eaters, and a great host. The affiliated public swimming beach is about a 10-minute walk away.

We found the room really clean and cozy, and breakfast was delicious. The staff were kind and friendly too. The hotel’s in a great spot, close to both the pier and the railway station. I’d recommend it to friends.
