The breakfast became our favorite part of the day. It’s simple, but such a nice way to start the morning. We’ve stayed here again and again over the years: first as a lost family with two little girls, then 35 years later with my wife and daughter, and now with our son too. Back then, around midnight, we knocked on the door because we were lost and asked if they could help us get a room. Miss Appesbacher was so warm and kind. Now her daughter Annemarie is in charge, and she has the same welcoming nature as her mother. This time we stayed for two weeks in a large room with a small kitchen and fridge, a double bed, and a couch that can sleep two. The bathroom was a good size, and everything was clean. If you like simple accommodation as a base for day trips, Haus Appesbacher is a lovely choice. The one downside is the traffic noise from the main road to and from St.Wolfgang, but it doesn’t bother me enough to put me off. I’ll be back!

The hosts were really friendly, and our modern apartment was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. It’s in a very good spot, though the main access road gets quite busy during the day. At night, it’s quiet. There’s a TV in each room, but you can’t connect your own media. Bring a Chromecast or something similar if you need that, otherwise it’s free TV only. Highly recommended.

Annemarie was a very kind host, and the recently renovated Buerglstein apartment was clean and fully equipped. It was comfortable for three people. I’d recommend it.
