Apartments Gustav

We liked the apartment’s location and how quiet it was inside. The ski lifts, shops, restaurants, and train station are all within an easy walk. There was room for about five, including one person on the sofa bed, and the modern rooms were clean and well equipped. The kitchen was great for cooking, the bathrooms were decent, towels were supplied, and the sauna was easy to use after skiing. With the doors shut, we barely heard other guests, and the area itself wasn’t noisy. A few things could have been better. It was very cold in Schladming, but the heating ran so warm that we had to switch it off completely to sleep. For six people, storage gets tight, especially in the living area. Supplies were limited: the salt and pepper had run out and weren’t replenished, and toiletries meant shower gel and one small soap bar. Some extra toilet paper would help. We had confusion about the keys after arriving once the office had closed. There were key boxes outside the apartments, and we got keys there; a staff member also brought us a key for apartment 6, but apparently this hadn’t been passed on to another staff member. We were told on the second day that we should have used the boxes outside the closed office. Since we arrived by transfer with luggage, the apartment boxes were more convenient, but the office called the next day and seemed unhappy that we’d collected them that way, even though we already had access. We also asked for extra pillows because all the bed pillows were thin or lumpy, and were bluntly told that wasn’t possible. That seemed odd, as guests have different needs and this has never been a problem when we’ve asked elsewhere.
