A cosy farmhouse stay with amazing views, just a short distance from the slopes. Highly recommend!!!!

We’ve stayed in several places around Schladming, and this has been the best so far. The Knauß family gave us such a warm welcome, thank you.

The farm was a big hit with all the animals, especially for the kids. They could visit the horses, pigs, cats, goats, sheep, rabbits and guinea pigs, and were so excited they didn’t want to leave. It’s also just a two-minute walk to the Planai West mid-station, which makes the location a dream for winter sports. We found the place clean, comfortable and equipped with everything we needed. The Knauß family made us feel very welcome, and everything from booking through departure went smoothly. We could also order fresh baked goods each morning, delivered to the door from 7 a.m., which was convenient and delicious. One small drawback: there’s no EV charging station at the accommodation. There are chargers in all the parking lots along the ski slopes, though, so that worked out well. We felt right at home and would definitely return. The rooms are huge, and there are lots of animals around, with nature all around you. We felt at home right away because everyone was so friendly, almost like joining the family. The rooms are lovely and the place has a real sense of comfort. The breakfast and pastry service is excellent. Try the farm butter and raw milk, or a poppy seed snail. Highly recommended!
