The views were exceptional, everyone was kind, and the beds were really comfortable. We were here for a ski trip and had a great stay. At check-in, we were surprised to find we'd been given a much larger place than expected: a three-floor apartment instead of a one-room apartment, with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a big kitchen with seating. The bedrooms were separated, which was a bit unfortunate. At checkout we paid an extra €45 for city tax and laundry service. I'd never heard of that service fee before, so it caught us off guard, though we didn't mind much since it may be common in the area.

The staff were friendly, and having parking right beside the hotel was handy. Breakfast was great, and the room was clean with comfortable beds. The hotel is in a lovely spot in Schladming. The furnishings felt a little dated, but it wasn't a big deal. Just be aware there's no air-conditioning in the room.

The apartment was really spacious, with two bathrooms and two separate toilets, and the accommodation is close to the region's main attractions. The bathrooms and toilets were very sparsely fitted out, though, and felt cheap, with no amenities provided. Breakfast also had less variety than at some cheaper hotels. There was no bacon, and the sweet pastries were repetitive and not very appealing. A good stay, just not quite a five-star experience.

The staff made this stay, especially Gigi and her team, who really went above and beyond. We were on half board, and both dinner and breakfast were excellent, with plenty of choice. Our room was modern and clean. The hotel is a little outside town, though a bus stops right outside. A hotel shuttle running more regularly into town would be a good addition. We had a great stay at Aparthotel Ferienalm and would definitely recommend it in Schladming.

That gondola card was such a nice surprise, included in the room price. Really phenomenal. We spent a short break in quiet, pretty Schladming, and the price for two days was very cheap. The room was lovely and clean, the breakfast was great, and the staff were very friendly. Big thanks to the whole team. Keep up this standard, and see you next time!
