Schlossl Dein Hotel In Schladming

The view was amazing, and the owner and staff were super friendly. Our room was really clean, with a gorgeous shower and a very comfortable bed. Breakfast and dinner were delicious, high-quality meals, so booking half board is well worth it. We had a fantastic time, thanks so much!

We had to cancel or change our reservation after a sudden, very serious family emergency. My father was critically ill and nearing the end of his life. We contacted the hotel right away, explained what had happened and kindly asked to move the dates or for at least some flexibility. The hotel refused to change the booking or offer a refund, saying it was too close to the arrival date. I understand that policies exist, but I was disappointed by the complete lack of compassion or willingness to find a humane solution. We had even offered to move the stay to a later period when the hotel wasn’t fully booked. This showed us how the hotel treats guests in difficult, unexpected situations. Its level of customer care was far below what we expected.

The best part was the view over lovely Schladming and the impressive Dachstein. We visited the "Rohrmosser Schlössl" for a long ski weekend and really enjoyed the location. Dinner was very good, tasty and cooked just right, with a big salad bar full of wonderful homemade salads. The waiters and owners were very friendly, and the morning shuttle to Planai West was perfect. Our rooms were tidy, though some had old furniture, which didn’t bother us since we were there to ski and have fun and only used the rooms to sleep. There’s a large ski room and a little sauna.

The walk into Schladming’s centre takes an easy ten minutes. Back at the hotel, the mountain views are lovely and nights are so quiet you mostly hear the brook rushing by. The food was excellent, and the staff very friendly. Our room was simply furnished, clean, and had plenty of space for clothes and toiletries.
