The wellness area was a lovely way to relax each afternoon, with Finnish, steam, and infrared saunas. The apartment was comfortable too, especially the well-equipped kitchen for making food after skiing, and the beds were good. The bathroom had a shower, two sinks, and plenty of space. Getting onto the Rohrmoos II lift straight from the pension on skis made mornings easy. It’s just outside Schladming’s busy center, so it was quiet, with beautiful mountain views. The owner was friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived. We couldn’t have asked for a better stay at Alpenrose Sportpension, and I’d recommend Alpenrose for a relaxing stay with easy access to the mountains.

Great value for the price. The apartment was spotless and well equipped, and the host was very friendly.

Our one small quibble was the glass bathroom door, but that hardly outweighed everything else. The guesthouse is cared for with real thought for its guests. The rooms are warm in winter and very comfortable, with good beds, and breakfast was fresh and delicious. There’s parking and somewhere to store ski gear too.

We were very comfortable on our second visit, staying in the cozy apartment with its lovely view. It’s a guesthouse run with care, in a great location, and we got lots of ideas for trips around the area.

The breakfast was fantastic, especially the homemade sausage and juice. The mattresses were really good, and neither of us had back trouble. Our blankets felt too warm, but they quickly found a solution, and the service was excellent. There’s a bus stop practically outside, and we’d be happy to come back. Best regards.
