Getting to the slopes is the biggest plus: go behind the house and you're on the last 100 meters of the piste, ready to ski or snowboard to the lift. You can ski back to the house on the valley run in the afternoon. Ischgl is about a 20-minute drive away. We left at 9:15 am during our stay from January 8th to 17th and got a free parking spot. We always parked at the Silvretta cable car station, in the first space on the right. Leave early if you want free parking, otherwise the multi-storey car park costs €7 per day. The hosts were friendly, the organization was good, and the rooms were clean. A wall mounted tablet in the hallway lets you order bread rolls for the next day, log your washing machine use, check costs, and do a few other things. It had some glitches but generally worked fine. The basement sauna is free, though you need to bring your own infusion bottles. It fits three people comfortably, or two couples, and there's a one person infrared sauna too, which might fit two very close friends. The internet was the main drawback. Maybe it was just the Wi-Fi, but sometimes we got only 3 kb/s, ISDN-like speeds. It worked better when surfing alone around midnight. At other times, speeds varied a lot, from a movie loading at mediocre resolution to Google not opening at all. The high altitude and narrow roads also made driving tricky. We had a large older car, and maneuvering could be a challenge. It'd be less of an issue with the right car. I don't really want to count these negatives against the rating, since the value for money is good. Hope this helps 👍

We slept well in the nice apartments and would definitely return. It's ski-in, ski-out, with a good sauna, and a friendly, helpful family.

The slopes, including the downhill run, were only about 25 meters away, fantastic! It took around 10 minutes to walk to the village center. Apartment 1 was clean, cozy, and fully equipped, and we felt at home as soon as we arrived. A very kind lady gave us an extremely friendly welcome, and we had a fantastic time with the Schweighofer family. We'd love to come back if we get the chance. Thanks, Schweighofer family 👍

We had a relaxing ski holiday with three generations and would love to return. The apartment was ready for us and felt very comfortable. Such a lovely family, and the skiing conditions were great during our last week.
