We've spent several family holidays here. The apartments are well equipped, and smaller kids can play in the garden playground. Our hosts were friendly and happy to chat without being pushy, and the balconies have nice views. It's a handy base for exploring Kärnten. Most attractions are roughly an hour's drive or less, and there are plenty of hikes around Millstättersee. Grocery stores are close, though too far to walk for most people.

The Bacher family welcomed and looked after us so warmly, and we came away feeling rested again. We've now stayed at the lovely Haus Sommereck three times and enjoyed it each visit. The apartment is thoughtfully furnished and has everything you need. From the balcony or the beautiful garden, there's a fantastic view. Thank you for making this such a special place.💕

Frank and Ulrike here. This was our first stay, and we were pleasantly surprised by the modern, cozy apartment and the lovely surroundings. Our hosts were incredibly friendly, and we felt welcome right away. We'd definitely come back for another holiday! 😀
