The rooms were very good, and the hotel is close to the lake and handy services like Billa and a bank. Everything was clean and the service was excellent. My one issue was the lack of air conditioning. I'm allergic to mosquitoes, so I couldn't leave the window open, and the thick, heavy blankets felt unusual for summer.

We stayed with a group from the Eberle bus company, and the owners made us feel so welcome. We'd happily return. The staff were warm and attentive, and the owner is also the chef. Breakfast had plenty of variety, and the food was good. Our balcony room was very spacious. The indoor and outdoor pool is open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., with a lovely mountain view near Spittal. It's a quiet, well-run family hotel, and the walk into town is easy: five minutes to the bus stop, and ten to the market square and town center. You can reach the hotel from the church, from the other side, or by taking the somewhat steeper road.
