PP-Camping Wallersee

Everything we needed was there, and the place was really clean. It stayed quiet in the evenings, too. The Wallersee is close by, though the nearest bakery is about a 15-minute walk. It’s self-service.

We spent quite a bit of our rainy week in nearby Salzburg, which is very close. In better weather, the lake is an easy walk away, with clean water and pleasant spots for swimming. The accommodation was very clean, though the rooms felt small and the walls were so thin that we could hear people talking outside and in neighboring rooms. There’s a bakery about a kilometer away, but it’s small and expensive; supermarkets are in nearby towns. The area is quiet and the other guests were friendly, but the surroundings didn’t really appeal to us, so we probably wouldn’t return.

The host was really kind, and the bedroom and living room felt cozy. There’s also nice cool air conditioning. A beautiful lake is only about a five-minute walk away, great for swimming or spending time with family. I’d like to come back if I get the chance.

We stayed about a week in a Stella mobile home, with plenty of room for three people, including two of us and our dog. Visiting in the off-season meant the campsite was quiet, and we really enjoyed that calm. The kitchen even had a dishwasher. When anything wasn’t working right, a technician came quickly, and the landlady was always reachable.
