We slept well in the quiet, pleasant rooms, and the food was absolutely delicious. A great stay, and one I’d highly recommend.

I left fed up, wishing I could be on an island too. The place feels like stepping back in time, and surely there are more professional ways to run things. There’s a very hierarchical, outdated atmosphere, and I didn’t feel comfortable. That limited the holistic benefit of the therapy for me. Communication also felt unprofessional and disrespectful: a nurse and a therapist made assumptions and got far too personal about my private life. They issued an incorrect bill for therapy I never received. If you aren’t careful, that could easily slip through unnoticed. And nobody at the facility can approve anything over €30 when the manager is away. They had to call the manager on vacation on an island abroad to ask what to do, as if that were completely normal.

The breakfast was the best we’ve ever had. Instead of a buffet, there’s a huge list to choose from, and everything is made fresh and brought to the table. Dinner was excellent too, with a great wine selection and a lovely restaurant atmosphere. The service was top-notch, and the whole team was fantastic. We’d wondered whether a hotel that also has rehabilitation and medical stays would work for a couples’ getaway, but it’s wonderfully welcoming and absolutely does. Our modern, beautifully designed room was upgraded to a suite by the very friendly hotel manager because it was available on our dates. We were welcomed with chilled sparkling wine, bath products, a coffee machine, and fruit. The saunas and relaxation room are lovely, with a tea bar and refillable towels. The only things that feel medical are the exercise equipment and the hoist by the pool, though that may be why everything is accessible. We think it’s a terrific hotel for a romantic break and will definitely return. Maybe we’ll book a massage next time. With late checkout, you can even stay until 8 pm. Highly recommended!

The medical care is generally excellent, but the administration is the complete opposite, which is a real shame. My father has been a patient for over 20 years, yet he was charged €140 in cancellation fees after becoming ill during therapy. That’s completely incomprehensible and unacceptable. How could anyone plan on getting sick?
