Alpenjuwel Garni

We had everything we needed in our apartment, which seemed newly renovated, and it was super clean and very comfortable. They even cleaned it every day, which is quite unusual for an apartment. The location was amazing, the service wonderful, and the staff helped us with everything. Very good value for the price.

The little touches made the stay almost perfect: there’s a kitchen with a dishwasher, laundry can be washed, dried and folded for a fee, and there’s an in-house wellness area, playroom and evening bar. The rooms and facilities are high standard, and the staff are helpful and nice. It’s close to the main ski lifts, with ski rental and passes practically in the house.

The location by the slopes is great, as are the ski lockers. The hotel itself is good, with a nice dining room, a great breakfast and plenty of food choices. But I’d rate the accommodation three stars rather than four because the rooms are adequate but tired, and the price was high compared with nearby options. Yes, we went at New Year, but it still felt heavily priced. Staffing is a problem too. Reception is meant to be manned until 8pm, but it’s hard to find anyone there during those hours. The bar is understaffed. There’s a great outdoor apres bar, but during apres hours you can’t get a drink in the small indoor bar because no one is looking after it. Later, the single bar staff member is often running between the inside and outside bars. If you’re really unlucky, that same person is also serving in the upstairs bbq. I would return, but only if the price dropped to what I think is more realistic.

Waw!!! Simple, small, very clean, and just a few steps from the ski lifts. The staff are really friendly, and the food is delicious. There’s also a little sports studio, a SPA and an indoor playground for kids. Absolutely amazing hotel, perfect.
