It's a quieter spot near the village entrance, which suited me for sleeping with the window open. You can walk to the slopes or the city center, and the postbus stops nearby. There's free parking out front. The Parkplatz subway station is about 30 metres away and gets you to the slopes in a few minutes. I stayed in an apartment and thought the price quality ratio was good. Breakfast was great and starts at 07.30, and there's a good coffee machine. Staff were friendly, the ski depot was large, and there was plenty of space. Cleaning was thorough and done daily. A couple of small things could be improved: there wasn't a proper desk for a laptop, though I could use the restaurant, and the apartment had no mini fridge.

After a long walk, the small pool was just right for relaxing my muscles, and I also really liked the infrared sauna. The hotel itself is cozy, with a large, very clean room and friendly, helpful staff. Breakfast was a delicious, extensive buffet. We ate at the restaurant once, the menu was simple but the food was very tasty. If we visit Serfaus again, we'll stay here.

We had a very satisfying first winter sports holiday at Alpenruh Hotel. The room "Lazid" had a connecting room for the children, and ours had both a shower and a bath. It was super clean, housekeeping came daily, and there were plenty of fresh towels. Staff were nice and always greeted us. The relaxed atmosphere was lovely, with the hotel full of families during spring break. Breakfast was fantastic, with tasty scrambled eggs, salmon and warm rolls. It started at 7:30, which felt a little late since our children had lessons at the top of the Komperdellbahn at 9:30. We’re early birds and waited in the lobby each morning for the dining room to open. Starting breakfast at 7 would make for a calmer start. Still, the hotel is a stone's throw from the U-bahn, so we made it up on time every day. Dinner was available from 6:00 PM, except Wednesday evenings because of a fireworks display on the mountain. We thought the food was just okay, but appreciated being able to eat there. The pool was great, though its floor was very slippery and the children fell quite badly several times. I also missed having coffee available during the day or afternoon. Definitely recommended, with a few things that could be improved.
