The owner and his wife put real passion into looking after their guests. He was kind, welcoming, and generous, and wanted to greet everyone personally. She’s an incredible chef, and that was the best meal we had on our trip. They were also very accommodating about allergies, including gluten and dairy. We were traveling with a tour group, and many of us agreed this was the best hotel and restaurant of the many we’d stayed at in Austria and neighboring countries. The location and views are gorgeous, and the rooms were clean and comfortable.

That handy ski bus stops right in front of the hotel, and it’s less than five minutes to the Kapellbahn or Christbergbahn lifts. You can leave the car parked and even get snowed in. The food is superb, and the rooms are cozy, new, and spacious. I can only agree with all the lovely things in the earlier reviews. This is the kind of Montafon hospitality, comfort, and service I remember from the 80s, when my parents stayed here. Fantastic. We’ll be back!

The five-course dinner was delicious, with pleasant-sized portions, and there was always a light snack available at lunchtime. Breakfast was generous too. The owners and staff were warm and welcoming, the rooms lovely and very clean, and there’s a small spa area for relaxing. It’s a family hotel that’s well suited to families with young children, and they make sure guests have what they need. Great value for money, and I’d recommend it to anyone staying in Silbertal. Please keep it up. We’ll be back!

The half-board option was exceptionally good, and we’ll be back. The host family made us feel very welcome, and the hotel is well maintained with relatively modern facilities and free parking. The kitchen is excellent, with plenty of choice, and gluten-free options are easy to get. At breakfast, they served the best gluten-free bread I’ve ever had.
