The friendly staff welcomed us and showed us to rooms that were spacious, clean and tidy. It’s a 3-star hotel, but some places with more stars that we’ve stayed at haven’t measured up to it. Our expectations were exceeded by a lot, and we’d happily stay at Landhotel Post again on a future road trip. Highly recommend it.

Our room had a large balcony over the lake, lovely decor and a huge bathroom. Everything from the bed to the bathroom was great, and the hotel has good amenities. Breakfast was included, generous and classy, with very friendly, professional staff. The setting made this a memorable visit to Ebensee: lake and mountain views, right beside the dock and on the main square. Choose a lake-view room if you can, it’s breathtaking and well worth it.

Breakfast was a big hit with us. There was coffee, all sorts of bread, cheese, boiled eggs, ham and pretty much anything you could want in the morning. We were one adult and two kids, staying in a tidy two-room apartment with a parlor and comfortable couch. It also had a good kitchen for cooking and a lovely balcony with a gorgeous view. The hotel is very well located, with lots of activities to do nearby, and you can rent a car or bike there too. We’ll definitely come back to this amazing place!

A pleasant hotel in a convenient spot, about 200 metres from the lake and close to the facilities. Our family room was a good size and had a small cooking area. There’s a nice bar, free Wi-Fi, and a good range at breakfast. The attached restaurant serves local and seasonal products.

Our room was very clean, and they replaced the towels daily. There were plenty of breakfast choices, and the staff were friendly. We’d recommend this hotel if you’re in the area.
