A CASA Aquamarin

I was disappointed that the TV, which was listed as part of the equipment, never worked. There were no channels, and it wouldn’t connect to Wi-Fi for streaming either. We reported it right away and were told someone would check, but nobody came before we left. That lack of follow-up is why I can only rate the stay a 3, even though the apartment itself was nice, clean and well equipped otherwise. I regret paying the full price in advance. Next time I’m in Sölden, I’ll stay somewhere outside the A Casa network.

The check-in staff were friendly and efficient. We also liked the apartment and its nearby hiking trails during our nine-night October stay. The interior seemed fairly new, though a few basics were missing, including a freezer, oven dishes, hand soap and kitchen paper. We may have missed the freezer detail when booking, so that part could be on us.

A great spot if you’re travelling with dogs, with hiking paths starting close to the house. The apartments are comfortable and well equipped, and although the area of Sölden is quiet, the shuttle gets you to the center in just a few minutes.

The staff were helpful, and the apartment had nice decor. A couple of small changes would make it better: the bath towels are small, and there were just two sachets of shower gel and no soap. Dogs are allowed, but the veranda has no partition, so you can’t leave them out there. Neighbours can also see into it. Even just adding a fence would make a big difference.
