A great spot on the slopes for a drink or something to eat.

The hotel shuttle picked us up from the N3 car park, which was a fantastic service. The hotel is very well placed by the lift that takes you straight into the Sölden ski area. The food is very good, and the staff are friendly and helpful.

The road gets snowy in winter, so remember your winter chains. The ski room could use better ventilation because of the smell. Otherwise, I’d recommend the place: it has lovely views and is near the lift, while the small room was clean and well equipped. Breakfast was good, dinner very tasty, and both the owner and service were friendly. The sauna was really nice.

The meal was a bad experience, especially for the price, which was on par with other places in Sölden at 10-20 eu. I ordered rösti listed as gluten-free, but the whole dish had fried onions that contain gluten. I’m gluten-intolerant, so that’s a serious problem. The side salad was also poor, mostly canned vegetables and very watery. Someone else in our group ordered kalteplatte, and that was poor quality too: the meat slices were at least 5mm thick and the plate was covered in some kind of paprika spice.
