Vent is a small, cozy village between the mountains, with a few restaurants. We wanted somewhere quiet, and although it's not in the heart of Oeztal, free buses run to Soelden and the Gurgl ski area, both about 15 minutes away. Taking the car doesn't really save much time. We used the apartment as our base for ski touring. If you're in good shape, you can reach the area's highest peaks in a day, including Similaun, Fluchtkogel, Hauslabkogel, and Wildspitze. We spent a week there.

We've been coming for our two-week summer holiday regularly for many years, and we're going again this year! The apartment is clean and well equipped, in a beautiful location. You can buy homemade milk, butter, yogurt, and jam there. The owners are very friendly and take wonderful care of everything 😊

We were back skiing in Vent the week before Easter and stayed in Apartment I at the Kleon family's house. It's a great modern apartment, clean and comfortable. The children's area is next door, and the ski lift is just a few minutes away on foot. The ski bus to Sölden and Obergurgl stops right outside. There's also bread delivery, plus products from the family's own farm, including yogurt, butter, milk, and eggs.
