Haus Maria

We had a fantastic week and felt very comfortable. Booking and communication with our host were incredibly friendly and accommodating. The location in Hochsölden is sensational and truly special, right on the ski slope. You can go straight from the ski room to the slopes. The rooms are functional and clean, the showers get nice and hot, and the new mattresses are very comfortable. Thank you so much!

The house has a breathtaking view and puts you right in the high mountains, with wonderful hikes nearby and cable cars that whisk you up to Sölden quickly. We stayed July 5th to 16th, ten of us in all, and having only the main bedrooms open worked perfectly. The house had all the necessary amenities, though it was a bit old-fashioned, which has its own charm. The kitchen is small but has everything you need. The one letdown was the path to the house. It’s about a hundred meters uphill through tall grass, so your feet get wet, especially in the morning, even when walking to the car.

The Riml family provided fantastic service and catering, and we’d love to come back. The house is wonderful, right on the slopes, and the rooms and furnishings are perfect. Outdoor seating and places to lounge with views of the Ötztal Alps round out the stay. Thanks for everything!

The big common room is cozy and works well even for 20 people. The kitchen equipment and rooms are fine for a self-catering hut, as long as you’re not expecting luxury. We were a group of 15 at Haus Maria, and the location really is unique. Waking up to the surrounding pistes and mountains makes you hungry for sunshine and snow! :-) We’ll definitely be back!!
