Haus Pia

A perfect place to stay for skiing in Solden.

We booked three apartments at Haus Pia, but the amenities fell short, especially the kitchens, which were missing essentials. Access to shared areas was limited. Sauna hours were restricted, and the fitness room was just one exercise bike in a corner of the sauna area. The apartments looked dated and showed several signs of wear. Cleaning in the stairwell every morning was also disruptive. On the plus side, the apartment is near the elevator and has a beautiful view over Sölden. Still, for the price, our stay didn't meet expectations, so we can't recommend it.

We had plenty of room to store our bikes safely, and the large balcony or terrace looks out toward the Gaislachkogel. We rented Apartments 2 & 3 for a long cycling weekend with nine people, riding parts of the Ötztaler Radmarathon route and going to the glaciers. The spacious, luxurious apartments each have a bathroom in every bedroom and a fully equipped kitchen. It's easy to walk to the lifts, restaurants, and bars too. Perfect for our trip, highly recommended.

We spent three lovely weeks here and highly recommend it. Our two-person apartment was clean and well maintained, and the owners were friendly and spoke good English. It's just outside Solden's town center, near the Gaislachkogelbahn, about a five-minute walk away. The Otztal Premium Card comes included, with free public transport, lift use, events, and more. There's on-site parking, a spacious sauna, and bread delivery if you ask.
