Next year, we're definitely staying somewhere else. The main reason is how unfriendly and unhelpful the landlady and her husband were. We've never had landlords in Sölden treat us so poorly. There were some good points: the balconies were large, and there were several parking spaces. But both apartments had very low ceilings, and one had a persistent, really unpleasant smell. The bread delivery was available only if requested. We paid €3,000 for the stay and, after specifically asking about a bathroom that stayed locked and a smelly room, got just €70 off. That felt ridiculous.

The owners are warm and friendly, which is one reason we keep coming back to Haus Sonnenhang. It's our favorite place to stay in Sölden, especially with kids of any age. The rooms are spacious and very clean, and the house sits up on the mountain with ski access right down to the slopes. There's plenty of room for skis in the ski room, plus boot warmers. We'd definitely recommend it to families.

We'd happily stay at Haus Sonnenhang again if we return to Sölden. The Fiegl family made us feel so welcome, and the apartment was just right for three people. It had everything we needed, and the location was fantastic. Highly recommended!
