Breakfast was delicious each day, and our room was clean, spacious, and had a gorgeous mountain view. My husband and I were so glad we stayed at das onkel fritz. The owner was incredibly sweet: when we told her the day before that we'd be leaving before sunrise, she left sandwiches in a cute bag right outside our door. We really appreciated that kindness and hope to see her again. Such a lovely place, highly recommend it.

The train station is less than a 5-minute walk away, and the ski lift takes under 10 minutes to reach, so the location worked especially well for us using public transport. We had a lovely 2-night stay. The room had everything we needed, was spacious and clean, and the host made the place feel warm and cozy. Breakfast was delicious and high quality; we heard the ingredients are sourced locally. A great spot for a traditional Austrian holiday. I highly recommend staying here.

We ended up at Das Onkel Fritz after a booking mix-up elsewhere in town, and they had a room ready for us within minutes. The price was reasonable, breakfast fantastic, and the room very clean with a comfortable bed. We stayed in the big suite, with a queen bed and a separate room containing a single bed. There was even an infrared sauna for two in the room. After skiing, we could dry our boots in a dedicated room, and the heated towel racks helped dry our shirts and gloves. The gentleman at reception spoke excellent English and made us feel very welcome, which I appreciated since my German is limited. Thanks for a great stay!

We enjoyed our stay in this small, pleasant hotel. The rooms were spacious and lovely, and ours even had a sauna. Breakfast came with a gorgeous view of Stuhleck. I'd recommend it for a quieter, smaller hotel on a ski trip.

Breakfast was excellent, and our spacious, practical room was very clean and had a lovely mountain view. Das onkel Fritz is a cosy place, run by friendly people. A lovely hotel to stay in.
