We felt well looked after throughout, with the staff checking whether we were okay or needed anything. The manager was especially kind and helpful, and arranged a wonderful tasting with a local winery, though I can’t remember her name. Right in the heart of beautiful Spitz, it’s a charming, authentic place to stay. Great location and genuinely helpful people. Highly recommended!

The owners were lovely and welcoming, shared lots about the area and the property, and made us feel at home. The site is beautiful, comfortable, and very well maintained, with a large garden full of flowers and trees. It’s in a lovely, quiet village but still well placed for getting to major spots nearby. There are lots of walking routes, including to Ruine Hinterhaus, accessible from the front or back. We loved it!

We especially appreciated the kind, helpful welcome and the comfortable, beautiful room with its nice views. Barock-Landhof Burkhardt is perfectly placed in lovely Spitz and the wider Wachau area. We enjoyed the Heuriger, walks through the vineyards, and the great mid-October weather.

The rooms and house were spotless and nicely maintained, and the hosts were really friendly. It’s in a quiet part of town but still close enough to walk to plenty of places to eat and drink. Great property.

That beautiful garden and the lovely atmosphere make this place really special. The owners were so welcoming and friendly. Hate to admit it, but I have to give it five stars. Strongly recommend!
