The rooms are large and the breakfast was very nice. It’s a quiet spot in a nice location, and the staff were really friendly. Would recommend this pension!

The view of the gorgeous hills was so good, and the beach was just a 10 minute walk away. Pension Schlommer was a lovely find for us, after wanting somewhere away from busy city life where we could relax. It’s 10 mins from St. Gilgen by road and 10 mins from St. Wolfgang by ferry. The rooms were neatly kept and the staff courteous. Everyone was accommodating, and having a kid friendly place made things easier for anxious parents like us. A pleasant, memorable stay. We can’t wait to come back during the winters.

The owners made us feel welcome the whole time, and the breakfast was tasty. Our room was cozy and squeaky clean, with beautiful views of the green surroundings and stunning mountains. We loved our stay.

The area has plenty to offer, and I can’t think of a better stay than Pension Schlommer. This family-run place is very clean and neat, and the staff are so welcoming and really go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy yourself. Breakfast was excellent, with fresh products from neighbouring farms, including fresh eggs and sheep dairy products. They also offer rent-free bycile, which was a big plus because the surrounding area is so beautiful. It’s about a 50 min. drive east of Salzburg and 50 min. drive West of Hallstatt, both totally worthwhile for a day visit. I’ll definitely come back!

The owners treated us like part of the family, and breakfast was really good. The location on Wolfgang Lake is magnificent, with spacious, very clean rooms, well above average. A perfect spot for a weekend or vacation, a superb Pension with no negatives.
