Everything important is nearby: Wolfgangsee is about six minutes away on foot, the center four minutes, Spar supermarket eight minutes, and the cable car five minutes. The owner was friendly and helpful. Our children got “Mozart kugeln” as a farewell gift. We really liked this guesthouse and would love to return. Highly recommend.

Parking is free, though spaces are limited, and be sure to check the check-in hours. We arrived late, after check-in time, but Berta welcomed us warmly. Haus Mayherhofer felt like stepping back in time into some kind of fable, and we absolutely loved it. The room was simple but lovely, with a comfortable bed and great shower. Breakfast was simple but had what we needed, including vegetables, pastries, sausages, and more. Very much recommended.

We really enjoyed staying here. Barbara and her daughter were wonderful, friendly hosts, and their family has run the place for generations. The room and bed were comfortable, and breakfast and coffee were good. Highly recommend.

The double room was lovely and right in the town center, which made it easy to visit other cities tucked into the mountains. My husband and I stayed three nights for our honeymoon, and this was our favorite place of the whole trip. I hope to come back, and I'd stay here again.

The room was decent and priced well compared with other places in the area. The owner was kind, and even let us leave our car after checkout so we could visit the nearby cable car. Reception wasn't always staffed during reception hours, though, and the self check-in details should perhaps be emailed ahead. Not everyone has a local SIM card to call.
