The balcony had a great view, the beds were good, and the staff were friendly. We had a good breakfast and a great dinner, even though we were on half board. There was plenty of soap in the bathroom, and we could leave the bills until departure. The location in St. Gilgen was convenient. The road nearby was a little noisy. The bathroom needs some maintenance: the ventilation didn't work, though there was a window, and the shower head was held up with string.

The hotel itself was good, but we chose it for a room with a lake view, and the price was based on that option. When we got to our room, there was no view of the lake. They might not have noticed if we hadn't pointed it out. They gave us a discount, but what we wanted was to stay in a lake-view room.

I booked a lake-view room, but they hadn't reserved one for me, so I couldn't stay in one.
