We stayed in rooms 114 and 115, both with excellent views over the mountains and valley. The rooms were well kept, with smart TVs and radio channels in the shower. My teenagers loved the large play area, especially the pool table, and live music by "Strangers" was a plus for everyone. The spa was tidy and relaxing, though I would have liked the hot tub water a little warmer. I’d also recommend booking a massage, it was amazing after a day on the slopes. The 3/4 gourmet board had a good range of food, but adding soup to the after-ski buffet would be nice. People throughout the hotel were friendly, and I especially want to mention the Mozartstube serving team. It’s a cozy Austrian hotel that mixes traditional and modern style, close to the Alpendorf ski gondola. I’d like to return for future ski holidays.

Hotel Tannenhof gave us a lovely Christmas stay, with a warm, festive atmosphere that made the holiday memorable. Every meal was delicious, beautifully prepared, and high quality, and we genuinely looked forward to eating there. The hotel’s cleanliness and care were apparent throughout, from the rooms to the common areas. Everything felt fresh, comfortable, and well maintained, which helped us feel at home. The ski room was conveniently arranged, making it easy to store and collect our equipment, and the hotel is very close to the ski lift. After a long day on the slopes, the overall comfort, food, cleanliness, and ski facilities made it an ideal place for a ski vacation. Everything reflected professionalism, care, and genuine hospitality. We couldn’t have asked for a better place and will definitely return. Highly recommended, a true five-star experience.

The hosts were wonderful, right across from the ski lifts. The whole team made an effort to take care of everything we needed, and the owner personally checked that clients were happy.

The location is great for skiing, but our Christmas stay was a real disappointment. We’d booked expecting the exquisite Austrian dinner advertised online, and the food quality fell badly short. When we went to use the wellness area at 3:40 pm, the saunas were cold.

The main frustration was the staff. Apart from a few exceptions, including the Greek ski repair person, most were unpleasant. At dinner, the server was pushy and almost aggressive when she couldn’t sell us the expensive wine she thought we should buy. We complained to the owners, but they did nothing and denied there was a problem. At reception, a staff member said a massage in the beauty salon had to be booked before the trip to get the published price, and that booking during the stay would cost more. That left an unpleasant feeling, and I can’t recommend the place. The facilities are quite nice and the hotel is conveniently close to the ski lift. The internet barely worked correctly most of the time. Food was good, though not as good as at some nearby hotels.
