After a full day skiing, it was lovely to use the hotel sauna and then swim in the lake. Gerlitzen’s cable car was only a 10-minute drive away, so it was easy to get to. The rooms had a beautiful lake view, and the restaurant was incredible, with an excellent three-course menu. Special thanks to the family hotel staff, who were kind, helpful and always smiling. We had a very pleasant sports holiday, thanks for everything. We’ll probably see you again in summer. Svobodovi

The place looks nice, and the staff were friendly, but the owner wasn’t likeable. It’s beside a road and train tracks, with no shops nearby. Dinner portions were tiny, nowhere near enough for an adult. They also charge for some odd things, like foosball, billiards and darts in the leisure room, as well as using the washing and drying machines.

The location and atmosphere were both just right. It’s a lovely, typically Austrian family hotel, and the owners were ready to provide full service to guests. The cuisine was excellent. I’d recommend staying here.
