A family-run hotel with very friendly people, tasty food, and great service. It’s just outside the main center, but an easy walk into town. Worth a visit.

For my son’s wedding, we booked seven rooms at the Gasthof Bauer, and we felt cared for throughout our stay. There was always plenty of parking, and Landlady Regina was accommodating when one room ended up not being used. She even arranged a shuttle to Lamberg Castle at the last minute. The bride’s Argentinian relatives loved the Austrian meatballs served on Friday, the breakfast, and everything else. Our only mistake was booking the bride and groom into a hotel near Zwischenbrücken. They would certainly have felt more welcome at the Gasthof Bauer.

Really friendly service, very good home-style food, and a lovely traditional restaurant.

The outdoor seating area is lovely, and the service is very friendly. They offer lunch menus, with excellent Austrian food.
