In June 2025, our family of three and our friends spent several days at Fiechtl Apartments in Stumm, sharing the large third-floor apartment. We could easily have stayed longer, with so much to see and do in beautiful Stumm and Zillertal for kids, adults, and seniors alike. We’d certainly recommend staying here and hope to return someday, perhaps for skiing in winter. The apartment was spacious, clean, and well fitted with everything we needed. The kitchen was great, with a full-size fridge/freezer, dishwasher, stove, and oven. A large balcony wraps around two sides, with great views and doors leading to the two main bedrooms, kitchen, and living room. Communication and information from the hosts were great after booking, on arrival, and during our stay. Jim welcomed us and showed us around, explaining what we needed to know. He and Veronika were both very nice and helpful. They live on the bottom floor, so they’re easy to find if you need anything, while giving us all the space and privacy we could ask for. Jim and Veronica are easygoing owners, and the place is nice and quiet. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

The snowboard boots we left behind last year have now gone missing. We had told Jim about them at the time, but when we came back to collect them, he couldn’t say where they were and wasn’t helpful or willing to take responsibility. Our stay with two families last year had already started off oddly. Jim let himself into the apartment without warning, and when we asked about the waste disposal system, which made no sense to us, he treated us as if we were crazy. He could be unpleasant and downright rude. We travel around the world several times a year and have never had a host this strange. I’d tell people to stay far away from this place.

The owner was really friendly. We had a lovely holiday in Austria, and the rooms were spacious and very clean.
