The central spot in Stumm worked really well for us, with restaurants and shops close enough to reach on foot. Parking was convenient, too. Inside, the apartment was spotless, roomy, and had a well-equipped kitchen; four people might find it a little tight. We got a very friendly welcome. The road can get busy at times, though the roller shutters cut down much of the noise and summer heat. We'd happily return.

With two showers and two toilets, the apartment worked well for a group of 4-6, and it was very clean. The hosts were warm and welcoming. The bakery is just around the corner, and there are plenty of outings nearby for children and adults alike. Highly recommended.

The ski bus stops just around the corner, which was handy. Our landlady was friendly and quick to help: when we asked for an extra table, she brought one right away. On our departure day our car wouldn't start, and she even sent her husband over with jumper cables. The apartment had everything we needed, and we can wholeheartedly recommend Apart Franz Josef.

We've stayed here twice now and hope to return. The hosts are lovely and accommodating, the apartments are very nice, and the village has everything you need. The surrounding countryside is beautiful for hiking.
