Haus Ferchl

The sauna barrel on the terrace was a highlight, just the right size for four people to relax. We felt very comfortable on both of our stays. The apartment has two double bedrooms and one triple room, two bathrooms, and a large living room and kitchen area. It’s cozy and spacious, though there are unfortunately few closets or dressers in the bedrooms. The furniture is functional, and the kitchen has the essentials. If something’s missing, Mrs. Ferchl responds right away. Ordering bread rolls over WhatsApp is easy. The house sits a little way up the slope, which makes the walk challenging, but the glacier ski bus stops right outside twice each morning.

We had a fantastic stay with nine people. The Ferchl family were very friendly and glad to help with any questions. The apartment is beautiful and very well located, with a sauna, two bathrooms, and everything furnished. For skiing, the bus stop is right outside, and it’s also a great starting point for hikes. We were glad to have a garage for the car, especially in freezing weather. The apartment is cozy, and the landlady is very friendly and helpful. There’s also bread delivery, a sauna, and ski storage. It’s up on the mountain, but the Stubai Glacier bus leaves from right outside twice in the morning, at 8:40 and 10:15, and was never crowded while we were there. In the afternoon it runs the same route twice from Mittelberg, at 3:45 and 4:45 pm. We’d love to come back.

The owners are incredibly kind, and I highly recommend the place. The apartment sleeps up to 9 people, is very spacious, and has everything you need. It’s excellently located very close to the glacier. Sauna use is included, fresh bread can be ordered each morning, and there’s a garage plus storage for skis and boots.
