I’d booked a room for two for a couple of days in Austria. After driving 450 km, with another 500 km still ahead, I called the owner to arrange our arrival. The older lady told me the reservation had to be cancelled and that I’d need to find somewhere else. Thanks for letting me know so early! My tip: it might be a nice place, but call the owner before setting off from home.
The owner was relaxed and funny, and the breakfast was decent for a guesthouse. The room felt a little dated, but the value for money was fair, somewhere in the middle. A good place to stay for a few nights.
The breakfast was excellent, and a very nice older lady looked after everything so well. Everything was perfect. We’ll be back!
