The house suited our group of six really well for Christmas. It was clean, rustic, cozy, and roomy enough, just right for the snowy mountain setting. We felt comfortable there, and it was warm enough; Mrs. Stockhammer, the owner, could turn up the heat if asked. The heating came on about twice an hour between 6 a.m. and 9 p.m., and we used only 42 liters of oil over the week. Being at the end of a cul-de-sac beside the forest worked perfectly for us. The dogs could run around right away, and the mountain views were breathtaking. For shopping or activities, though, you need to drive to Seefeld or Telfs. It felt like good value for a clean, comfortable mountain house.

The hosts were great, and the cottage was lovely, tucked right by the forest. It stayed nice and cool inside. Only drawback for us was that there wasn't a view of the valley.

The house felt much too cold for us. The heating only came on at 7 a.m., 4 p.m., and 10 p.m., three times a day, and it was very loud.
