Ferienhotel Elvira

Clean, nice rooms with a really beautiful view of the mountains.

Good value, with clean rooms, lovely views, and kind staff.

It's well placed for excursions, and free parking is available. Everything was very clean, though service was a little slow. Breakfast was okay: the filter coffee was good, but scrambled eggs were only available when the owner had time. There were few raw vegetables and only a small selection of fruit, though boiled eggs were available. The sauna is switched on by request, when the owner is there.

The owner was incredibly friendly and helpful, and her excursion tips were more useful and informative than what we got from the tourist office. The hotel sits above Thiersee at the edge of a field, so it was very quiet, and we enjoyed relaxing on the balcony. Our room was lovely and cleaned every day, and there was plenty of parking. Breakfast was plentiful and had everything we needed. Though the weather was a bit rainy and we only stayed a few days, we felt completely at ease and had a very pleasant time. We'd gladly return.
