The hiking trails in the Alps nearby were a real highlight. We could spend the day out in nature and return to the Villa in the evening, which made for a lovely mix of activity and comfort. Our dogs were welcome too, and that made the stay even easier. Inside, the apartment felt full of history, with thoughtful details and modern comforts. The hosts were kind from the moment they welcomed us and were happy to help with our needs. It felt like a privilege to stay in a place that keeps its heritage so carefully. We’re already looking forward to coming back.

I felt at ease as soon as I arrived, with greenery and lovely countryside views all around. Christian and Natasha, the villa’s owners, also treated me to some lovely Austrian wine. It was a welcome break from the rush of city life. I enjoyed discovering the villa’s history and its connection to music, and the gardens and views made it easy to slow down and reflect. Alban Berg Villa was a really restorative place to stay, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a peaceful break from everyday stress.

We spent a week here with the family in August and loved it. The house and all its furniture have their own stories, and the place felt so cozy and comfortable. The surroundings are beautiful too. We sometimes cooked in the kitchen, and there are lots of good, reasonably priced restaurants nearby. Can’t wait to come back for Christmas!

We even got to attend a concert the hosts put on for local residents, which was a real highlight. The hosts were welcoming and engaging, and although we aren’t experts on Austrian classical music, staying in an interior full of history and legend was fascinating. Our family had a wonderful, unforgettable week in the apartment. It was peaceful and quiet, with stunning views and a lovely location. I highly recommend it to travelers and art lovers.
