The hostess was friendly, and it was very peaceful there. The apartment is spacious, with a big balcony and a beautiful mountain panorama. You can reach the summit of the Gerlitzen from the house. Getting there takes some care: the toll road is about 8 km and roughly 20 minutes of very winding driving, with hairpin bends. It's unpaved, quite bumpy, and partly only wide enough for one car. An SUV is preferable. I wouldn't recommend the drive to beginners or nervous drivers.

It's been ten years now that we've spent a week each year with the Guetz family, either in their spacious apartments high on the Gerlitzen mountain or at Lake Faak. We wouldn't want to miss those stays together. It's a lovely place to unwind, with such a welcoming atmosphere. Warm regards, Olaf Brandt

The view is incredible, and the furniture is good 😎. But there were quite a few problems: I could overlook the cleanliness, but there were no salt or pepper shakers, and the toaster was so gross I couldn't use it 😱. The dishwasher and toilet both smelled 🤢. No beer glasses, so bring your own, and there wasn't a proper frying pan 😣.
