The setting on the slopes was beautiful, but a rude waiter basically demanded a tip and that really spoiled things for us. We only had drinks and one Germknodel. The service was fine, nothing special, and in Europe tipping isn't customary unless the service is above average.
We had lunch here while snowboarding in mid-February 24. The ribs, Farmers salad with its big baked potato, bacon bits and pumpkin oil, and the kids' shared pulled pork burger were all delicious. Food was fantastic, and the service was just as good. The staff were so on top of things that watching them felt like seeing a well-choreographed dance or a well-oiled machine. We'd definitely return in summer or winter. I can't comment on the rooms, as I thought this was just an on-piste restaurant.
They wouldn't let us sit down in the restaurant, and the toilet is always broken.
Our Skiwasser was just pink-coloured water, and we were charged for two extra fries when we'd only ordered one. The customer service was absolutely terrible.
We stopped for coffee and choco rum, and really liked the terrace. The waiter was very kind; we liked him.
