The wellness area had plenty to enjoy, with indoor and outdoor pools, several kinds of sauna, a hammam, and a very quiet place to relax. The rooms and the rest of the hotel were beautifully designed and kept in impeccable condition. We also looked forward to the flavorful, beautifully presented five-course dinner each evening. From the moment we arrived, the warm welcome made us feel at home, and that genuine Tyrolean “Gemütlichkeit” was all around. We’ll most certainly be back.

The reception team were always friendly, and the man at the bar was lovely too. I think his name was Michael. Our waiter, Stanley, was very serious and got frustrated easily. Since we were a large group, we sometimes needed to talk things through when ordering, and he clearly didn’t like that. It made us uncomfortable asking for anything. Some of my friends were too nervous to approach him in case he got angry. There were only three or four tables in the sitting area, and they were always taken, so after dinner we couldn’t find a place to sit with friends and play cards.

The wellness area was a lovely place to unwind after a day of activities. It was modern, very clean, and peaceful, with options for a swim, a sauna, or just some quiet time. The food was another highlight at Das Alois. There was a great variety, the ingredients seemed high quality, and every dish was expertly prepared. The staff were friendly and helpful from arrival through checkout, attentive and professional, and their genuine warmth made the stay feel personal. I had a delightful time here and would happily return to Das Alois Hotel for another relaxing getaway.

We found it a perfect place to stay for a winter holiday, with a great location and accommodation. The hotel was very clean, the pool was nice, and the staff were friendly. We also really enjoyed the food, from breakfast and the afternoon snack to dinner.

We keep coming back to hotel Das Alois, as often as we can, every year, in winter or summer. The hospitality, service, family-like approach to guests, and standard of the food have always been exceptional. The spa is amazing after its reconstruction.
