The food was a real highlight, with excellent breakfasts and dinners, lots of choice, and high-quality ingredients. Each evening’s multi-course meal felt like a treat. For my birthday the hotel arranged a thoughtful surprise, which made it even more special. We spent a few relaxing days at Hotel Klausnerhof and felt warmly welcomed from the moment we arrived. The whole team looked after us throughout our stay. The hotel is beautifully kept, with traditional alpine charm alongside modern comfort. Our spacious, spotless room had stunning mountain views, and waking up to them each morning was a pleasure. The wellness area was clean and peaceful, just right for relaxing after a day outdoors. It’s an ideal base for exploring the Hintertux Glacier area, whether you’re skiing, hiking, or simply taking it easy. We had a wonderful stay and would love to return. The friendly atmosphere and attention to detail really made an impression.

The food was outstanding, probably the best we’ve had on a ski holiday. The family who own the hotel were hands-on, working at the front of house, serving wine, and running the kitchen. Everyone on staff was incredibly gentle and helpful. The hotel was cosy and clean, and we had a wonderful week there. It’s only one bus stop from one of the main gondolas. There’s a big boot room, a relaxing spa, and a large bar with lots of fun games for children. Just lovely.

The restaurant had a few dishes that felt overly creative, almost trying too hard. Some people in our group loved that, while others would have preferred more familiar comfort food. The schnapps wagon was a hit, and the spa was a 10 out of 10. For the price, the luxury was exceptional. The service staff were the most professional and best trained I’ve seen at a small hotel in a long time. Getting to the slopes was easy.

The friendly service really impressed me, and the food was great. With its stunning views and fantastic location, it works perfectly for a hiking or skiing holiday, or just relaxing at the spa. Excellent hotel, would happily recommend it, and I can’t wait to return.
