The food was amazing, with a gourmet feel and Austrian flavors. There was parking and a lift. But we didn’t have the warm hospitality that other reviews had led us to expect. Maybe it was a language barrier or simply bad timing, but we felt like naughty kids. At check-in we weren’t given hotel information. On our first evening a woman came into the sauna, showed her watch, and caught us by surprise because we were already past the operating hours. We also misunderstood Jasmine about dinner time. We were hungry and waited in our room until 20h, thinking dinner started then, but it actually began earlier. We asked if we could bring a guest, and she said yes. Then it turned into a big drama because she hadn’t understood the request and told our friend to go back to her hotel. In the end, it worked out and we had dinner together, but the experience felt strange. The owners could be more flexible. There were no bathrobes in the room, and no lobby, bar, or shared space to have a drink. The restaurant wasn’t open outside meal times.

The owners were super helpful and friendly, and the sauna and Turkish bath were amazing. Our room was very nice, cosy, and clean, with a stunning view. You’re right in front of the ski area. I’ll come back, you’ll love it here.

The bus stop is right outside, and getting to the hiking trails was easy. The views were amazing too. When you check in, you get a bus ticket for your room, with free rides throughout your stay. It’s a great base for snowboarding, skiing, and hiking. This family-run hotel gave us the best stay and hospitality we’ve had. We arrived tired from a night bus, well before check-in, and they let us freshen up and rest in their amazing sauna room. They were super nice throughout.

Dinner and breakfast were both good, and the renovated rooms are really nicely done. Jasmin & Martin made us feel welcome right away, they’re friendly, lovely hosts. The location is great, and the sauna is a nice fit for a pension this size. I’d happily recommend it.

The recent renovation has left the building in tip-top shape, and the Austrian architecture is beautiful. We had an amazing four-course dinner, and the staff were the nicest. I’d give this gorgeous hotel six stars if I could. Google’s “2 star hotel” description makes no sense to me. It deserves at least 3.5, if not 4.
