Haus Scheiber

Getting to Sölden by bus was easy, with the stop about 200 meters from the house. The return bus drops you right at the door. It can be packed on the way back, though from Längenfeld it's often half empty. We stayed in the "Horlach" apartment, which turned out to be roomier than it looks in photos. It was recently renovated and had an impressively complete kitchen. The family who owns it were very polite and welcoming. There was a slight cowshed smell, but we hardly noticed it with only the street-facing bedroom window open. We'd definitely stay here again if we're back in the area. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was delicious, the hostess was kind and friendly, and the prices were very attractive. I stayed for five days in July, and although the bathroom and toilet were shared by several rooms and located in the hallway, they were never in use when I needed them, so it didn't bother me. The room had a lot of atmosphere, with an old-fashioned feel like Grandma's, while the simple furnishings were comfortable and practical. I'd happily stay here again if I needed a place in the Ötztal Valley.

Ötzi Village and Stuibenfall waterfall are both close enough to walk to. The house is modern, recently renovated, and very well looked after. The hostess was really friendly, and there were homemade eggs, milk, and butter. Thanks for a lovely stay! 😃

Everything is within easy walking distance, with shops and restaurants close by in the town center. The holiday apartment is newly renovated and equipped very well. The hosts were friendly and welcoming. We'd be glad to return.
