Haus Elisabeth-Wasnighof

The hostess made sure we had everything we needed throughout our two-week holiday. We especially liked the bread service, and there was plenty of parking at the property. Our apartment was clean, modern, spacious, and had a large balcony overlooking the horse pasture. The location was wonderfully quiet and close to Velden, though a bit too far to walk.

The location is a dream, and Velden’s town center is easy to reach on foot. Our apartment was great, with comfortable beds, everything we needed, and a very high standard of cleanliness. Frau Ortner was a warm hostess who clearly cared about her guests. We’d be happy to come back.

Guesthouse Elisabeth is a great choice for families. There’s a playroom for less-than-ideal weather, and the well-kept garden has several seating spots, a barbecue, a ping-pong table, a playground, and ride-on toys to keep the children busy. Mrs. Ortner was very friendly and had everything perfectly organized so guests had what they needed. The rooms were comfortably furnished and very clean. The kitchen was exceptionally well-equipped, with different glasses, a kettle, toaster, measuring cups, coffee maker, oven and baking trays, hand mixer, and more. I’ve never found such a complete kitchen in another vacation rental. Our apartment trash was emptied daily, there was a bread roll delivery service, and they even did our laundry when we asked. We had a thoroughly enjoyable vacation, and I highly recommend Guesthouse Elisabeth!

The guesthouse is in an idyllic spot, just a short 2 km walk from Lake Wörthersee. It’s beautiful, clean, and well maintained, with both apartments and rooms. We had a lovely renovated room with everything we needed, and the bread delivery offered a wide selection. We’ll definitely be back, and I’d highly recommend a stay here!
