The breakfast spread has loads of choice, with bread, cheese, cereal, fruit, vegetables, boiled eggs and marmalade. I did miss hot options such as sausages or scrambled eggs, and I couldn't spot soy or other alternative milk. Those matter in some people's daily routines, though I imagine they might be able to provide them if asked. The staff are very friendly and committed to helping guests have a good time at the hotel and in the region. It's a family-friendly hotel with a bar and comfortable rooms.
4/10
We were very disappointed to find the place in such a state. The hotel has clearly had better days, and during our stay it felt as though the builders were living on site. The sauna wasn't working, there was no bar service or restaurant, and there were no real facilities to speak of. It would've been nice to know when booking that the hotel was undergoing a full renovation.
2/10
It felt like a ghost hotel. There was no service, no toilet paper, and we waited half an hour for hot water. Really bad experience, wouldn't recommend it.

The service here is excellent and the hotel is great. I'm already thinking about coming back next year.

Quiet and good.
