Seehotel Süd

We were excited to stay in such a beautiful location, but the experience was a huge disappointment. The room was dirty, with a stained carpet, smoke embedded in the soft furnishings, mould in the bathroom, and torn, stained curtains. The front desk was very unfriendly and unwilling to help, which reflected badly on the hotel. We booked three nights but left after one. Terrible welcome, terrible room, terrible experience. I wouldn't recommend staying here and would suggest going anywhere else.

With our two young, tired children, we got to the room after waiting what felt like forever to check in. The sheets hadn't been changed after the previous guest. There was a thick layer of dust and grime on the baseboards, and we found roaches and hair in the bathroom and beds. The door latch was broken, so we had to brace the door with a chair in case someone broke in. We spent a deeply uncomfortable night. When we went to reception for help, the receptionist seemed annoyed that we'd interrupted her phone. She said there was nothing she could do except send housekeeping in the morning. She smelled overpoweringly of recreational substances when she finally came to check us in. This isn't just a cleanliness issue, it's a safety concern. Avoid at all costs.

The service was awful, and the food was even worse. Easily the worst hotel I've stayed in. If you have the option, sleep in your car instead.

I was staying here with my family and was disappointed by how unclean the room was. There was hair in the bed, holes in the linen, grime around the shower, and the toilet hadn't been cleaned. When we raised it with staff, they blamed us and said it hadn't been there before we arrived, even though we'd only just entered the room. They refused to clean or change anything until the next housekeeping shift, saying they weren't at fault. We asked for another room and were told they were full, although many rooms appeared available online. The staff were aggressive towards my family, said we wouldn't get a refund, and told us to leave if we weren't happy. We won't recommend a stay here.
