Top location, and the wellness area and restaurant are 10/10. Great hotel with great staff.

We've come back to Velden Am Worthersee in each of the two following years and stayed elsewhere, only because this hotel was sold out on our dates. We'd definitely stay here again. The service was fantastic, and the hotel was delightful, with a clean, spacious room full of natural light. It's right on the Velden strip and has great parking. Each year since our stay, the Hotel management has sent us a Christmas card. Not necessary, but such a personal, welcoming touch. Delightful.

It’s a fantastic hotel, and the effort they put into making your holiday wonderful really shows. I did have trouble with the parking, though. There wasn’t much space, partly because restaurant visitors were using spots meant for hotel guests. After dinner one evening, a young man, who I think was the owner’s son, said I could park in a certain spot as long as I moved the car by the afternoon. The next morning, reception told my wife they’d have my car towed if I did that again, even though we’d run into the same parking problem. That didn’t feel very fair to a guest. Also, the beach is a long walk from the hotel, and once there, you have to go down a long flight of stairs to reach the beds. The website should mention this for people who can’t walk far, like me.

A great find if you want something better than the usual without paying above normal prices. The vegetarian choices were excellent, and the staff understood how to adapt dishes to suit us. Everything tasted really good.
